another year comes to an end #2015

images.png

2015 had been the most eventful year ever. So many memories to carry forward. From the first ever goa trip to becoming a silver medalist to joining  Deloitte, learning quite a few things, getting hospitalized for the first time, first experience of  breakup, to all the parties and all the madness. All happened in this year.

2015 has been a weird year.
I learnt how to say No. How to pick my own happiness over other things that I felt obligated to give preference to even if they made me sad.
Most of all, I learned that I am not the nice guy I always thought I was. Ended up hurting quite a few people who bothered to care for me.

But all this said, It has been a tremendously positive year for me in terms of personal growth and happiness. I look back with satisfaction, great learning and experience, many new people and unforgettable moments. 2015 is over and the will to win, the desire to succeed, urge to reach the full potential will continue in 2016. Hope 2016 is better.

Wishing all of you a happy and prosperous new year 🙂 Stay Healthy and keep smiling 🙂

1-If you are working more than 9 hr then dont need to join Infosys.

2-If you are working on saturday and sunday dont join infosys (for IT).

3-Whatever time define in your task complete within time.

Fire all people who fall in criteria 1,2,3.

It’s half past 8 in the office but the lights are still on… PCs still running, coffee machines still buzzing… And who’s at work? Most of them ??? Take a closer look…

All or most specimens are ?? Something male species of the human race…

Look closer… again all or most of them are bachelors…

And why are they sitting late? Working hard? No way!!! Any guesses??? Let’s ask one of them… Here’s what he says… ‘What’s there 2 do after going home…Here we get to surf, AC, phone, food, coffee that is why I am working late…Importantly no bossssssss!!!!!!!!!!!’

This is the scene in most research centers and software companies and other off-shore offices.

Bachelors ‘Passing-Time’ during late hours in the office just bcoz they say they’ve nothing else to do… Now what r the consequences…

‘Working’ (for the record only) late hours soon becomes part of the institute or company culture.

With bosses more than eager to provide support to those ‘working’ late in the form of taxi vouchers, food vouchers and of course good feedback, (oh, he’s a hard worker….. goes home only to change..!!). They aren’t helping things too…

To hell with bosses who don’t understand the difference between ‘sitting’ late and ‘working’ late!!!

Very soon, the boss start expecting all employees to put in extra working hours.

So, My dear Bachelors let me tell you, life changes when u get married and start having a family… office is no longer a priority, family is… and That’s when the problem starts… b’coz u start having commitments at home too.

For your boss, the earlier ‘hardworking’ guy suddenly seems to become a ‘early leaver’ even if u leave an hour after regular time… after doing the same amount of work.

People leaving on time after doing their tasks for the day are labelled as work-shirkers…

Girls who thankfully always (its changing nowadays… though) leave on time are labelled as ‘not up to it’. All the while, the bachelors pat their own backs and carry on ‘working’ not realizing that they r spoiling the work culture at their own place and never realize that they would have to regret at one point of time.

So what’s the moral of the story??
* Very clear, LEAVE ON TIME!!!
* Never put in extra time ‘ unless really needed ‘
* Don’t stay back unnecessarily and spoil your company work culture which will in turn cause inconvenience to you and your colleagues.

There are hundred other things to do in the evening..

Learn music…..

Learn a foreign language…

Try a sport… TT, cricket………..

Importantly, get a girl friend or boy friend, take him/her around town…

* And for heaven’s sake, net cafe rates have dropped to an all-time low (plus, no fire-walls) and try cooking for a change.

Take a tip from the Smirnoff ad: *’Life’s calling, where are you??’*

Please pass on this message to all those colleagues and please do it before leaving time, don’t stay back till midnight to forward this!!!

IT’S A TYPICAL INDIAN MENTALITY THAT WORKING FOR LONG HOURS MEANS VERY HARD WORKING & 100% COMMITMENT ETC.

PEOPLE WHO REGULARLY SIT LATE IN THE OFFICE DON’T KNOW TO MANAGE THEIR TIME. SIMPLE !

NARAYAN MURTHY.

What’s the Quality of Your Thoughts?

09a5343.jpg

Quality of thoughts determines the level of peace of mind. Negative thoughts result in negative acts which in turn causes distraction in emotions, unstable behavior, frequent mood swings, family complications, lack of trustworthiness, financial mistakes, professional brawls and so on. Healthy thoughts result in more positive outcomes, high happiness index, better health and so on. So all in all your thoughts are defining your present and your future.

There are several reasons for negative thoughts including but not limited to your circumstances, your brought up, financial situations, family conflicts, job and family complications. While you may not be able to fix these reasons, it is highly recommended to analyze your thoughts and mitigate the negative impact as much as possible. If you remove the impurities from your thoughts you would be able to have a positive, focused and prosperous mind.

How to Analyze Thoughts:

If you have seen a big aquarium, you must have noticed that the fish keep wandering here and there continuously. From right to left, bottom to up, here and there; all day long. They don’t seem to be getting any specific advantage while doing so. Same is the case with human mind. When your head is on the pillow, your brain starts wandering here and there. Several times it is processing the thoughts which shouldn’t be the point of concern at all. Though fish do not know this but you can control your wandering of brain by picking up a specific thought/subject and ask these questions:

a) Why am I thinking about this subject? Is this subject related to others? Why am I thinking negative about someone? I should mind my own business.
b) What exactly is the issue? Is this something impacting (or going to impact) me or my family? Can I define my issue/question in one sentence clearly so that I can focus on the solution?
c) How can I resolve this issues? Is this doable? If not, can I take advice from others?. If I have the solution then what are the steps which needs to be taken?

How Can I Improve the standard of Thoughts:

a) Avoid thinking about unnecessary things specially related to others. Mind your own business. Posses a focused mind.

b) Stop comparing yourself to others. It’s an insult to yourself. You are a unique soul and you are independent on your living, your decisions and your destiny.

c) Don’t think of monetary gains too much. Excessive love for money and assets is the root of most of stresses. Work on your real wealth.

d) Develop the habit of forgiving and letting things go off. If you are keeping the grudge in your brains for longer duration, you are killing yourself.Stress is a slow poison which deepens its roots your brain and destroy your physical and mental health.

e) Read quality quotes or articles on positivism and try to absorb the message. This will kill the germs of negativity.

f) Practice the habit of gratitude. Stop complaining, criticizing and blaming. When a negative thought comes in, convert it to positive by looking at the positive side of the issue.

g) Instead of thinking about your ‘wants’ too much, think about your needs. This will reduce the magnitude of your focus because usually needs are limited but wants are too many. Adapt simple life style as it reduces unnecessary socio-economical issues.

Things which only Rajnikanth Can do #HBDSuperstarRajinikanth

If Rajinikanth was born a hundred years earlier, the British would have fought to get their independence from India, goes one of the hundreds of jokes woven around him, crowding the internet.

But then Rajinikanth, who turned 65 today, has always been a phenomenon nonpareil. But on screen, the ultimate folk hero, style badshah and forever young virilty icon of Indian cinema who will despatch a dozen baddies with as much thought as flicking a speck of dust off his carefully creased fancy shirts or regularly get atop a 50 storey building with a single small leap is not expected to be anything less than grossly surreal.

Even if the Rajinikanth away from the cameras and arc lights may be the exact opposite. An ageing man walking around in a plain white shirt and dhoti, never bothering to hide his severely balding pate or the white stubble on his face.

Here are a pick of things which only rajnikanth can make it happen.

1. Handle a hundred gigantic guns with two hands. Up yours, you tentacled octopus!

I decided to do a story on THE Rajnikanth, but then I am wondering how many light years it’d take me to complete a story on how awesome he is. But that’s not happening. So we’re celebrating the super awesome things only Rajnikanth can do in this entire freakin’ world. Why? Because the man is God’s masterpiece. And God is Rajnikanth’s! Okay, let’s roll!

If God is everywhere, why can’t anyone see him?

Spirit-Feel-the-Spirit-download

One day I asked myself the same question because I didn’t understand so many things. I started thinking about why God exists and I can not see Him. I became much confused. A question quickly came into my mind, that is, are my thoughts and imaginations true? I began to wonder; why can’t I live for 2 minutes without any thought at all? We mostly don’t regulate it but we keep thinking or various thoughts and imaginations keep coming into our minds. We can’t stop them from coming. Certainly we do believe they are a part of our lives (i.e. they true or they exist) and we all don’t care about seeing our thoughts and imaginations. Why worry to see God before you believe He exists?

Recently I read a story which made me believe that god exists and I am sharing it with you all. Hopefully you all would like it.

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?” The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”
“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”
